
- To provide an international forum for new scientific advances in the field of cardiac arrhythmias: basic and clinical electrophysiology including cardiac pacing and defibrillation, catheter ablation, and noninvasive diagnostic methods.
- To allow exchange of ideas for cliniciafdns (cardiologists, internists, general
practitioners, physicians working in intensive cardiac care and surgical units- representatives of all subspecialties interested in cardiac arrhythmias) with those involved in basic scientific research in the clinical, academic and industrial setting.
- To provide through sessions and workshops, up-to-date knowledge in new developments in the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias.
- To provide participants the opportunity to interact with experts in basic and
clinical electrophysiology.
- To provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the newest pharmacological and nonpharmacological approaches used in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
- To provide analysis of important clinical trials as they affect clinical practice.
