The 9th International Dead Sea Symposium (IDSS) Symposium - CONSENSUS AND CONTROVERSY IN CARDIAC ARRHYTHMIAS – is on its way. It will take place from 22nd to 24th September 2008 at the Dan Panorama Convention Center, Tel Aviv.
The last symposium (8th IDSS, October 2006) generated great interest worldwide. Despite the tension that prevailed in Israel and the world in autumn 2006, all major areas of clinical and basic pacing and electrophysiology, and all leading manufacturers in the field were represented, drawing the attention and participation of many pacemaker and electrophysiology specialists (about 700) from 28 countries of Europe, North America, and Asian-Pacific area. Given the more optimistic and stable atmosphere currently prevailing in Israel we are confident that the September 2008 Symposium will enjoy an even greater success and larger attendance.
The Executive Scientific Committee is working on developing a high-quality program which will be CME accredited. We hope this year's symposium will appeal to professionals in all disciplines dealing with arrhythmia patients: cardiologists, internists, and general practitioners, physicians working in intensive cardiac care and surgical units, as well as those involved in basic scientific research in the clinical, academic and industrial setting. If you would like to organize a second satellite symposium the cost will be €10,000 only, and will be on the same conditions as above.

EXHIBITION
A commercial and professional exhibition will take place parallel to the symposium hours. We wish to maximize the exhibitor's exposure to the delegates, for this reason all coffee breaks will be held in the exhibition area. We have a big and comfortable area for exhibition which can provide an excellent forum for your company - bringing it to the attention of the participants of the symposium.

ROW SPACE RENTAL
The exhibition space includes:
- One booth unit, 6 square meters (Length - 3 meters, Depth 2 meters)
- 3 walls
- 1 table measuring: 80cm Width, 180cm Length
- 2 chairs
- 1 standard electric outlet (plug) 220 volt
- For 6 sqm: for two exhibitors' badges, lunches and refreshments during coffee breaks
- Symposium bag including scientific material.
- Any additional exhibitor's representative will be charged as detailed on the exhibitor registration paragraph.
EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION
Exhibitors will receive a badge displaying the exhibiting company name. Two exhibitor badges will be given for the first 6sqm booked, and two badges for every 6sqm thereafter. Any additional exhibitors will be charged as noted in registration form.
DECORATIONS
Exhibitors are forbidden to extend their booths into the thoroughfare or other areas which were not ordered and paid for by the exhibitor. The booths height will not extend beyond the height of 2.40 m. Any plan for a height of more than 2.40 m. must receive certified approval from a licensed engineer.
ALLOCATION OF EXHIBITION SPACE
Space Allocation will be made on a "first come, first served basis". A completed application form accompanied by advance payment should be emailed/ faxed to ensure reservation of a desired location.
Upon receipt of the application form with payment, space will be confirmed and an invoice for the balance due will be mailed. Please note that three alternative choices should be clearly indicated on the application form. Space allocations will be made in the order in which application forms with payment are received. Advance payment will be refunded if space is fully booked or space offered is not acceptable to exhibitors.
TECHNICAL/EXHIBITOR MANUAL
A technical manual outlining all technical aspects of exhibiting will be circulated
1 month before the symposium. It will include the following:

- Final exhibition details and information
- Contractor details
- Services available to exhibitors and order forms
SITE INSPECTIONS
