On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Commutes I welcome you to The 9th International Dead Sea Symposium on Cardiac Arrhythmias and Device Therapy (IDSS). The previous symposium (8th IDSS, October 2006) clearly showed a worldwide interest on the part of many electrophysiologists in our meeting where scientific achievements may be joined with a pleasant stay in fabulous Tel Aviv.
The Program Committee has prepared a high-quality, CME accredited program which reflects the advances in the main fields of cardiac electrophysiology and pacing. "Hot" topics on basic electrophysiology, pediatric and adult cardiology, including non-pharmacological treatment of AF, CHF and prevention of sudden cardiac death will be discussed in sessions and satellite symposia with participation of leading specialists from Europe, USA, Canada and Asian-Pacific area. Mini-courses on CRT and AF ablation are also included in the program.
There will also be separate sessions for surgical treatment cardiac arrhythmias, satellite symposia for family physicians, for physicians working in sport medicine and for nurses and technicians working in pacing, EP and cardiac care units. These symposia were well attended at former conferences were tremendously successful during the last IDSS.
On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees I would like to express my appreciation to our fabulous faculty and you, participants. I hope all of you will depart from Israel enlightened, invigorated and looking forward to return. I cordially wish us all a fruitful and enjoyable meeting.
Sincerely Yours, |
